Happy 52th Merdeka

Hi.

It's fast how time flies innit? 1 year ago I was sitting for PMR just like every other form 3 person around Malaysia, and now here I am, it's about half a year i've been in college :)

Anyways, I ish bored and half awake since I DID NOT SLEEP AT ALL since yesterday, not even a tiny nap. Since im sooooooooooo tired, I'll give you a rundown of what I did recently :D !!!

30th August 2009

Went for G.I Joe for the 2nd time with my church homies! I must say its been a gamillion years since i've actually hung out with them or whatsover, so since they invited me out I coulnd't resist. After the movie (Which was good, if you haven't watched it, go watch it) my fail 'plan' was to stay behind for fireworks!!!

HOWEVEEEEEER, I DIDNT KNOW THE FIREWORKS WERE CANCELLED TAU?

Nobody told me.

Sho met up with Calvin, had mcds then headed over to Caryn's house for... SETTLERS! Kinda dissapointing I got 2nd to Huey Wern but wth lah, wasn't in the most energetic mood to congratulate her. After that I headed to my favvy yamcha spot, ming tien! Me and Cal chilled out there till 2am+ then headed back to his crib for a sleepover...

DIDNT SLEEP AT ALL FOR ONE NIGHT. While Cal was busy sleeping, I entertained myself by spraying an aerosol spray + lighter at one of his dogs! Thanks to that, shes scared of air wick mountain air now :P. We decided to go to mcd's for breakfast with Steph but guess what?...

...HER MUMMY CAME ALONG :O!

The 'breakfast' dragged on from 9am till 11+ but I should think, her mums pretty aite lah :) . Hope it doesn't happen too soon tho, Calvin will get gatal tangan macam tu. After that, went home, had a shower, ps3'ed for 2 hours+ and now im here babbling bout my wonderfull day. I might even go out tonight! Thats another post tho, so happy merdeka day Malaysia!!!

ANYWAYS! Let's talk about my on job training. I have about 12 days left exactly, and it seems like I was working a whole year at workshops all over the friggin planet. Im happy its soon over but internally, im not content on life.

I want something... More. Cant explain it, but maybe car parts help for the meantime :/. Im getting more agitated than usual nowadays, grumpier, and just.. MEAN! I hate being like this, and I miss CHURCH. 2 months dah weih... it's like, an eternity. I haven't been paid a SINGLE cent and my cash flow is drying up. I FOUND FORGED PISTONS FOR MY GA16DS!!!

Ok lah, crapping aside, im tired and im excited. Not for tomorrow, my heart is just beating fast.

2 days ago.

I cant remember what the date was so... on THURSDAY. My fever has left me on Wednesday and I was bored, decided to wash and polish my mums car because I never had the chance since OJT started. Washing the car was pretty simple. Since it had been just resprayed its smooth and quite straightforward but when I was done washing, while POLISHING then the complications started.

You see... I started washing the car around 5.30. Then if you time it how long it takes to rinse, clay bar, I ended around 7.30. Appying the polish? 7.45. I couldn't frickin see WHAT to wipe off so I thought it was smart to park it in my porch and let it dry overnight. But nooooooo...

It rained overnight.

With my polish still on.

So yesterday.

Woke up around 2pm and at least the sun was shinning, so Just redid the car in the afternoon sun. Shiny huh? :D

*You know whats weird? My title was about the MTV world stage but im talking bout my car...*

So we shall talk bout ze' teekets then. I won them about 2 weeks ago or so, before I fell sick luckily. Won them at cineleisure since MTV was giving them tickets away, I SOMEHOW just got picked and next thing I know im leaving with 2 tickets and 2 season passes to sunway lagoon. Oh lucky daaaaaay :D!!

What was the point of this post tho? Nothing. Just wanna tell the whole damn world im going for the concert tonight :P, bye guys!!

OH YES, I miss blogging.

I really do.

So topic wise for today, it's going to be random, according to what I want to type. I haven't been here for at LEAST a month or so thanks to On Job Training or in simple english, work. Its now the 3rd last week of my OJT but I think that it just might be my last... I've fallen sick since LAST TUESDAY (1 week dah people, but i'm 99% okay now) and still weak since. Didn't really help my mum went away when I fell sick.

I so hope the college lets me take a short break. I've got a feeling if I go to work again im gonna see my doctor again :)

Anyways!

I want to talk about my parents cars as usual!!!!! *MUAHAHAHAHA*

While on OJT I really didnt have time at ALL to do anything to it, its been a month or so since ive washed the civic, the nissan... more maybe. Moving on, on the way to work one morning I so happened to notice that my dad's civic's brake pedal was like FRICKIN soft, so soft, it almost touched the floorboards under full braking!!!

So when I reached work, I asked my one-and-only co-worker what would the problem be, the brake hoses or would a simple reflush of the brake system do? Then again, im sure you all would know regardless whether or not the flushing was the problem, I convinced my dad to change:

1. The brake pads. OEM's were squeaking even though they weren't thaaaat worn out. Just slightly. The EBC's however squeak once in awhile, but OMGosh weih, like no dust saja. It prolly has 80% less brake dust than OEM's. The green color looks cool too and 500 degrees celcius max temp? Its Jekyll and Hyde for a street pad :P
2. Brake hoses. Changed all 4 to Pro-RS stainless steel/teflon combo hoses vs. the stock rubber ones. Cant feel THAAAAT much difference, but maybe its because the stock hoses were still okay.
3. Strut Bars. I DIDN'T ask my dad for these, the sales person at Kakimotor managed to convince him in buying a set. Better yet, we also bought BOTH front and rear anti-roll bars for the civic!! 19mm in front, 16mm at back. (Intresting fact tho, the OEM front was 23mm)

After these changes were done, im sure my dad felt good about himself :) . He picked me up just to show me what he bought, hahahahaha. (So cute huh?) And after driving it for myself, when I get my own money, I wana get custom ARB's for the Nissan too :D!

Now...

Nothing much to say bout the poor old Nissan. It went for a respray, and im SOOOOO happy to see it actually looking normal without the faded paint and mismatching panels. However, when they painted the car they painted my EXHAUST TIP and GAB's!!! Damn sad weih... My struts now look all paint splattered and the exhaust same. Nyways, wanna polish the Nissan soon, havent done that in a YEAR. Literally.
