The First Post Of 2010

The year 2009 is gone, 2010 just came in even though I MISSED IT. More on this later, rambling first as usual :D...

Its so fast that already 1 year has gone by like that, im technically a 'senior' in college now. Its weird being 16 and knowing tons more stuff than older people in college and teaching them! I thank God that this year there was more good things than bad ones, but it just had to end crappy didnt it?

The next time when I ever drive if my mum is going to ask me here to drive here and there she better have a schedule and stick to it. Thanks to her I didnt get to sleepover at Alex's house, didnt get to watch fireworks, and didnt get to visit Calvin or whatever. Instead of celebrating all she did was watch TV while I fell asleep on the couch. OH and I woke up an hour ago btw, had my supper then since I didnt have dinner...

I swear because of this, next time if my mum is fickle minded too bad. Im not driving you anywhere screw your plans, you wanna ruin the LAST DAY OF THE YEAR for me i'll ruin your mood whenever and wherever lah.

The only bad thing aside... Lets talk about the good things!

And as USUAL, i'll start with my soon-to-be-daily-driven car, the Nissan AD resort! It has come a loooong way from what it has been... last year it was bone stock with a semi-faded paintjob after the accident, not exactly the kind of condition where I would say im proud of it. Now at the end of the year this is what my dad has done to fix it back to health :) :

1. Paintjob: Gloss white, simple, cheap (Among other choices) and JDM! Cant go wrong with it... Sadly its already starting to peel around the edges, lesson learned, NEVER send it back to Nissan for a damn spray paint job.

2. Exhaust: YES I KNOW, its not BRANDED, its pirated but hey, my dads not a performance junkie (I am though) so we just settled for it. It does improve performance, but not by that much... Its torquey during the mid-range but as you REALLY rev the engine hard it starts to get out of breath. I have no idea whether its caused by the fact im still running my stock intake or the exhaust is craaaap, sounds great though haha. I love revving it just for the sound... Bassy, smooth and loud only when you floor it... Plans to re-do it next time at Tonnka next time + adding a Cherry Bomb Glasspack. Huhuhu~~ http://tonnka.com.my/main/

3.Wheels: Oh boy this is my favourite mod of the year. I JUST found out that the 'Black Racing' wheels on my car are usually lighter than 'Watanabe' rims... AMAZING :O.

4.Nissan OEM Japan Lip: Its just that little black skirting connected at the front bumper, purely cosmetic only haha. Amazingly it bolted straight on with no fuss at all...

5. Spark Plug Cables: Red, PIRATED, but they work. I'd suggest use this only if youve run out of minor mods such as an air filter, which would benefit more... Theres no air filter that specifically fits my Nissan so I was too lazy to hunt down one. I've got something better in mind for it hehe >:).

6. Rainbow Lug/Wheelnuts: Again colorful and maybe HALF A GRAM lighter than the ori? Slimmer too! I just wish they were slightly longer... Haha.

7. Nardi Steering + Bosskit: Chung already bought the bosskit, i've got the steering. When should I install it? Why ASAP of course :)!

And that would be all the mods done on the Nissan this year... I never completed spray painting the calipers + drums, wonder where can you get that done haha. Modding can be spread out whenever you have the money, and stopped if you dont. UNLIKE buying a NEW CAR, you have to pay no matter whether you lost your job, or you just got a RM10k bonus cause your boss so crazy, he gave you a bonus.

ANYWAYS!!! Gibberish aside im going to talk about my NISSAN SOMEMORE. Muahaha ;D.

I really really wonder how much more of these I can finish by this year, the mods are becoming more and more expensive since i've already finished stage 1. What do you think?:

Stage 2 Mods (Sounds like NFS huh? HAHAHA)

1.Twin Weber DCOE40's + Custom Manifold with Trumpets: If the stock carburettor stops working by this year... Muahaha :D, you know what that means.

2. TiTan custom coilovers: Yes, my car has fender-to-wheel gap of 5-6 fingers and it feels like a old car with over grippy tires when it corners hard. Well, the fact it is an old car with grippy tires makes this a very ironic statement... Im looking forward to this the most.

3. Full bracing from Ultra Racing: Yeaaah, even though the nissan has already got autofoam inside of its entire skeleton, its never enough! Admittedly, I am a handling junkie (Played too much Gran Turismo 4 + Forza motorsport 2) so some minor bracing would be nice... The nissan really needs anti-roll bars back and front. I want custom THICKER ones then the ones already off the shelf. The 16mm rear one looks weedier than the weeds behind in my garden. I mean come on, it really looks like a OEM anti-roll bar painted white. I try to make ANYTHING i've got to turn better than stock. Of course the nissan is one of the dumbest platforms to start a handling beast but anythings possible right?...

4. Foglamps: Haha this is again purely cosmetic, but it would be SOOO awesome if I could just find the OEM Nissan Wingroad foglamps, then tint it yellow or use yellow bulbs in it. WHEE~~~

5. Tachometer: My car doesnt have one :(... I want big big one with BIGASS shift light so it looks like an old trans-am race car, hahaha. Dumb part is, my Nissan is FWD or wrong wheel drive as they call it, so yeh. 5" of autogauge Taiwan knockoff goodness...

6. Brake Pads, Steel Braided Brake Hoses, and Painting the Calipers grey: I've been procrastinating for so long, I think i'll let a shop do it for me haha. EBC Greenstuff just like on the honda + PRO RS brake hoses + Grey calipers and drums should be enough to stop my car for now...

And there we go. All the mods I HOPE can be finished by 2010, if its done its already 2 years that we've been modding the Nissan :). Im like so proud of my-soon-to-be car~~~ Haha.

LASTLY to all you who are the same age as me, we can get our licences by this year! :D MUAHAHAHA. We shall rule the streets!!! Happy new year everybody, and welcome 2010.

Isnt the shot of this S15 beautiful? Takata green TE-37 rims on a white body never gets old... Yes, these pictures were taken at Formula Drift 09.

Which do you preffer? 4 cylinders, RWD, light or 6 cylinders, AWD, and a heavyweight bruiser?...

...Or maybe this little starlet! 4AGE + small light chassis FTW :D.

Cant tell what tank this is, overflow tank for the radiator?...

And theres the big turbo inlet... *WOOOSH*

Custom strut tower braces, made by Tonnka if im not mistaken? Its a replica of the Nismo strutbar, crazy solid :O...

4 Throttles + trumpets + NITROUS injection, crazy setup on a 4AGE 20V, I wonder if it works in a carburetted setup?... >:)

Achilles tires, again TE-37 rims but in bright flourescent oraaaange :D

Mad mikes MADBULL's streched tires, check out that stretch!

Drift damage, Poor MADBUL...

And of course, the finals. These were my favourite battles of the whole formula D! I dont have the videos but 'someone' has them and im going to get it from 'him' pretty soon...

P.S : "This whole post has been bought to you by ANGLIA shandy original flavor and Ian Lo.
All shots were taken by a Sony A200 DSLR, NONE of the photos are edited. I love photography!"

Random MSN Crashing And Daniel

The most intresting thing happened today while I was online.

Dan Wong a.k.a Daniel decided to say hi to me. I replied and guess what?

What Air Filter Works The Best

As mentioned above, this is probably one of my shortest entries ever. Stumbled across this article dozens of times, but now I wanna post it up to show which air filter you should choose :)
So technically what the test results are...

1. K&N is good.
2. HKS, not so.
3. I use K&N.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. I made a great choice!!! ;D But seriously, read the link above for a more technical explanation...

Christmas Gift Before Christmas

YESH! I got 1 gift and counting. Its 1 day away from christmas and i've already gotten a gift. Hand painted, glitter glued, and painstakingly made, I think its one of the coolest gifts i've gotten in awhile... This awesome picture frame was made by miss Di Wern A.K.A Wendy or my 'Daughter' ( Inside story) last night @ 3am. No joke, she really made all these for her friends.

And the picture she chose is pretty cool too! Thats when I looked better with my long hair and less weight muahaha. (Yes I know, I put on weight dont have to rub it in right? :/) Di Wern looks cuter there also with her specs, according to me lah.

*It now resides on my speaker*

Nice wrapper also, shes so clever she wrote "Merry Christmas" with a purple pen on purple paper! Di Wern logic totally owns man :P. Oh well, its the tought that counts as they say...

Since I threw the wrapper away (Sorry Di Wern! Dont kill me at church yeah? ;D) I decided to keep the ribbon and stick it onto the frame. Not bad right?

Wonder how many more prezzies i'll get :)... And thanks again Di Wern!
December + Christmas is the BEST time of the year!

Heroes 2009 UPDATE!

Yes! Its late, but as they say, better late then never. I've finally got the time to upload all the photos, re-save them so theyre downsized, upload them onto FB and this ALMOST DEAD blog of mine soooo, yesh, how lucky i've still got the willpower to type out what happened. The camp was at PEACE HAVEN, heaven for christian camps as even though it's my first time up here i've heard this name gamillions of times...

Shortly after arrival, the whole CBC 'gang' which consists out of:

  1. ME
  2. Calvin (Not official, hope he becomes one though)
  3. Stephanie
  4. CJ A.K.A Big Bright Orange!
  5. Aaron Lee
  6. Alex Lee
  7. Ryan
  8. Amanda (Shes not here)

decided to take pictures on top of this BIG ROCK, which was precariously perched on top of a hill so high, if I fell I think I would have died... or at least break alot of bones. Anyways! It was great for a couple of shots so Big Bright Orange! took this shot for us, I think its really one of the better shots of the WHOLE camp. Thank you CJ for volunteering :), I really treasure this picture here... Since he was so nice, I decided to take LOTS of photos of him also but theyre not here.

Theyre on my FACEBOOK. Go check it out yo! ;D

Well what do you think? Sexy no? :D

So after the photos, everyone except me seemed to get epically hungry. Thankfully the camp is overloaded with cup noodles + pringles which we had as a staple diet for 3 days, now im sick of pringles because of that... Our photographer of the day turned into a commercial superstar! I wanted to take a photo of him eating (A random shot) but he ended up endorsing the cup noodles. CJ, you are truly unique and irreplaceble you know that?

Now, how to eat noodles. Everyone has a unique way as this couple here show. The girl absorbs the carbohydrates by her nose, while her boyfriend has a more refined aproach. Note the pinky finger out, and the half squinted eyes, now THATS the BRITISH way of eating cup noodles people!

Noodles done and eaten, it was time to take more random photos! I took a ga-billion shots of the sky even though it was just like what you see in PJ. I guess genting air has this, trigger-happy scent in the air where you just want to take shots of everything and anything. For example, you like my stone wall? :D

Thank God the effect didnt last for long, and we all went back to our rooms. Guys and girls are seperated, so now I was sharing the room with the infamous Big Bright Orange! who co-incedentally was chosen as the fearless dorm leader. Note the way he scratches his bumbum with leadership oozing out of him...

Big Bright Orange! : "No!... Please dont eat my precious white wall!!!"

On the 2nd day, the world game began. This fancy 'world game' is actually not as lame as it seemed, it was consisting of major countries of the world which I so happen to fall into BRITIAN. British peeps for the win weih. We were lead by our very confident prime minister, Clement. Why is he confident you ask? Imagine the world is in CHAOS, and I asked him for a photo and he gave me THAT. RESPECT LAH PERDANA MENTERI OF BRITIAN! *Bows*

Then we have his 2 highest in command, Sarah and Mirelle! I think 90% of the work was done by them, they were the one who 'pakat' with other countries to do this and that, 'till the point I got confused wth was going on and started taking shots. NO not liquor, PHOTOGRAPHS. My job was only as the international representative thingamajigy which really, was retarded thank God :D. And if youre probably thinking im going to say what I DID, youre hallucinating! If I DID work right, how would I take all these awesome pics? XD

And on the last day of world games, even though I 'deserted' my country ( I went down after dinner to the lounge area, talked, fell asleep for awhile then woke up again) the Prime Minister of Britian pardoned me for my desertation and I got to be in a group photo with them!

What the game consisted of, a map, titles of who youre going to be, and a WHOLE LOT OF CONFUSING things which I STILL dont understand how to use.

And after 3 and 1/2 days, finally camp was over, we had to pack our bags and endure a PAINFULLY slow trip down the mountain to get home...

Like what Calvin is posing in the picture, Heroes Camp totally ROCKED >:D!!! I didnt learn much, but I learened a much needed lesson. Its not much but it makes a big difference y'know?

Niteeees, im so tired my eyes are stuck on the scren now.

Ricer Needs/Wants

HARRO PEEPUR. Its mid-December, christmas is around the corner and im FINALLY doing an update on my blog again :D. Yes granted I havent been here to do much posts even though I have gamillions of things to blog. I shall start wiiiiiith!...

Parts which I bought.

Then what I want :P.

So we shall start with those shiny bead thingies. Theyre lugnuts, A.K.A the nuts that keep your wheels from falling off the studs. Bought for RM70, they have an intresting 'rainbow' color scheme which I so happen to like. It has 6 sides to the nut, and it comes in 16 pieces 4 per wheel. Actually the only reason why I bought them is because im bored of looking at my mismatched chrome lugnuts on my mums nissan...

Now, what I wish I had the $$ to buy.
Its an autoGAUGE (Not autoMETER which is American...) 5" tachometer with an orange shift light. Since the nissan doesnt have one and im going for the old school theme... im sure this is gonna look spot on :). Sadly, the cheapest I found it for is like what, rm699 even its Taiwan made? Sad lah. The American one costs more than a K :/

And thats all for TODAY. I'll be updating 1 or 2 more updates just to wrap up 2009. Nights everyone!

OH YESSSSSHH I FINALLY UPLOADED 1 PICTURE!!! :D

(Y'know me lah, I cant sleep without showing off something without bragging about something I did/bought/took)

My fav picture among all that I took :), now I can sleep in peace haha. Nights!

3 Days After Coming Back From Singapore

Nyah. Blogspots photo uploader thingy is not working again so im kinda du-lanted. Wanted to upload a few photos of what I took in S'pore... ANYWAYS! Its about a week away for the 'heroes' camp, and im love drunk :)

Who the girl tho?

Aint saying, no point to :P.

Lastly, im getting the hang of DSLR's. Awesome at medium-close range, hopeless at night without the flash even though its bright already. Wish me luck with more photos!

If She Was Here

... I'd have a girlfriend. Sad lah shes 300kms away :/
